  After 11 years of being under the pain management care of Dr. Lee, I just found out that he no longer takes insurance. I have come down from New York for 11 years just to see him because he is an amazing man and doctor. I have been coming to him since my car accident when I was a teenager.
  
  I was just rudely told by his receptionist that unless I paid the $350 to do the office visit and trigger point care as well that I could not just come in for a consultation which is only $100. He has prescribed me a medication that I'm assuming you should not just full out stop and this woman's suggestions was to just find someone else up in New York or call my family doctor. She also told me that I hadn't been there in a year, which is definitely false and that I just didn't show up for an appointment in March, which again is false, I know for a fact that I had my appointment and then drove back into New York city that day.
  
  In a time of stress when you're being told that a doctor you have come to learn and trust is no longer taking patients under insurance (I can't afford to shell out $350) this was definitely not how I wanted to end my partnership with a doctor who helped me through some of the hardest times of my life.
  
  Dr. Lee I appreciate all you've done for me but am very disappointed in how your office staff has handled this situation.
