  Tim went over the cost energy savings of geothermals and heat pumps with me and the conditions that they work best. Also provided information for eligible programs of rebates and financing to be able to afford whatever I would decide to go with. He reviewed other areas as well and didn't just limit his review to the heating but also the surrounding factors that effect the heater and comfort of the home.

  Good response, problem is handled, a/c works fine. BUT...after arriving at 5:00 PM, I was told I needed a condenser fan motor for $620...being ignorant of all things mechanical, I agreed. I was further told freon would be $150/pound, and it wouldn't work without it. That I knew was true, but I questioned the freon pricing several times before agreeing.
  Online this morning, I found motors for anywhere from $80 (replacement part) to $280 (original York motor), and R-22 freon refrigerant for $4 to $10/pound. I have called to speak Tim Foley, president, but have not received a call back by end of business today. I will continue tp question this pricing until I am satisfied.
